Today is my Mom's birthday. Everyone thinks that their moms are special. My mom is mother to six children. She was a stay at home mom. With that many kids she had to be. We always had a home cooked meal...no microwave or out of the box meals. She has peeled enough potatoes and fried enough chicken to fill an ocean. She always did without so that we could have new shoes or clothes.We grew up in a happy home and have fond childhood memories. She is still cooking and no one can make homemade cornbread like her. I love you mom. Happy Birthday.
